Things I'm partial to: My Twitter Math Puzzles The Water Tlog oh and also things I like More about me down there
I suppose that when someone says, “I love you,”
The right reply is usually, “I love you too.”
But I suppose that this doesn’t always work,
It may sometimes leave someone hurt.
How troublesome love can seem to be,
But if I love you,
And you love me,
Then you and I,
Let’s go with “we,”
Well, we have solved love’s mystery.
But I may have written this poem in haste,
After all what’s the mystery in the first place?
How can I, a riddle have solved,
When the question itself, was never resolved?
(And by “resolved,” I mean “to have been made clear”,
Not “answered,”
That wouldn’t make sense, my dear.)
And so my attempts have seem to failed,
To understand love, I have been derailed,
And in finality I have entailed:
Love does not need to be understood,
And the truth is that we really all should,
Let it do it’s thing and be what it would.
Oh, I'm Alec. I'm in high school and I live in Seattle (win!). I pretty much have a lot of love in my heart, except not in a corny way right? Anyways, please enjoy all of this. Also you can drop me a line if that does anything for ya.
